Deepa Shah is a MRI Technician, a Mother and a Photographic artist who specialises in evocative images of the living world. She first used the camera/MRI machine to photograph the inside of our bodies during and after her college years in 1997 and as her profession (Radiology) till 2009. A full-time professional from 2009 onward, Deepa started photographing the outer beauty of life.

Deepa's daughters are her inspiration, the reason why she loves photography. Photography makes her heart fill with love. She wants to freeze every moment in life, which you can relive it again and again!

She believes that the most important quality of a photograph, as in all of art, is to evoke an emotional response. While everything in nature does this for her, selecting just the right places and moments to make a photograph that conveys those emotions is far more difficult. Her camera is one of the tools she uses to achieve her final results, the images you see here. No one tool is perfect, however, and no one tool can make a great artist. Her processes involve meticulous attention to detail in her field technique, along with work in today’s digital darkroom to fine tune, optimize and adjust contrasts, colors, tonalities, luminosity, etc. in an attempt to better present to you the experience she felt in being there herself.

She specializes in many areas of professional photography
including high school senior portraits, family and children’s photography, newborn photography, business headshots, corporate business photography and even pet portraits.  You may choose to have your portraits in your home or at a favorite outdoor location.
